For the first time ever, we will be holding TWO decorations only workshops with Clifford from Cakes by Cliff. In this afternoon session, Cliff will be showing you how to temper white chocolate and make his iconic white chocolate sails. You will also be shown how to make white chocolate spheres as well as isomalt decorations. Cliff will then show you how to assemble these decorations onto a real cake after which, the cake will be cut up for everyone to enjoy. You will be working in groups of three to get some hands on practice ands will be taking home your chocolate and isomalt creations to devour (or use for your next cake :P)

The class will cover:
• How to temper couveture white chocolate using the microwave method
• How to achieve a 'white' colour on your chocolate
• How to make and shape white chocolate sails using the Silpat and baking paper method
• How to make colourful chocolate spheres using compound white chocolate
• How to work with isomalt and shape isomalt shards
• How to securely assemble your white chocolate and isomalt decorations onto a cake
• Hands on practice, cake cutting (cake eating involved)
• Many tips and tricks

The following will be provided:
- Equipment, tools, chocolate and decorating supplies
- Apron
- Beverages and light refreshments
